Welcome to the home page of Great Chart Playing Fields. The main playing field is the home of Buxford pavilion which is equipped with a kitchen area, a meeting room, toilets and shower facilities and changing rooms. The venue is available to hire for meetings or for birthday parties. It’s easy to access from the M20 or from the surrounding areas and offers onsite car parking area. 

In addition to Buxford Pavilion and the main field, the playing fields are pleased to provide a safe play area for toddlers in the newly refurbished play park and with an assault course for children aged 11 and over. The Playing Fields wanted to keep the wooden theme of the park which is often referred to amongst the younger generation  as “The Wooden Park” 

So that the whole family can benefit from keeping active and spending time together adjoining the play park there is an outdoor gym. The area offers a comprehensive workout for those who wish to keep fit, this is free of charge. If this is not enough there is a large area with goals where visitors are invited to enjoy kicking the ball around. 

The Playing Fields are for all to use therefore we would like to ask all our visitors to be always courteous to each other so everyone can enjoy the facilities.
